Demo Reel

Hello, My name is Marcela Manzo and this is my demo reel. I worked on two films and one video game menu screen. In order of presence, Full Sail's May the Fourth Star Wars short film, Alice: Madness Returns, and The Invisible Man (1933) audio re-work.  These were a lot of fun to design. I primarily used Avid's ProTools to edit sound to picture and hopped into Logic Pro to use software synthesizers to get the sound I was looking for. This is how I edit dialogue! It was a lot of fun editing and recording this with my voice actor. I decided to use the public domain version of the End Poem by Julian Gough so this isn't the version you would see in the game. I tired linking it here but Youtube wouldnt let me. As an intern at Full Sail, I got to work on this great short film from the Film students at FS. I did all the dialogue editing, sound design, background, and Foley. I also edited the music to align nicely with the on-screen dancing.

The Invisible Man (1933) | Audio Re-work

This is an audio-rework I did. An audio re-work is when you take out the original audio of the film and create your own to showcase what you can do. I performed and recorded the foley, cut backgrounds, edited the efforts, and mixed the project. Enjoy! :)

Game Audio Design - MIM

This was my first attempt at putting sounds into a game. The Wwise program was much fun to learn. I like that the machines on the platform were easy and efficient. The game in the video comes from Unreal Learning. It was free to download to learn how to use the Unreal engine but it also benefits from an audio perspective. Most of the sounds were edited in Protools but were created in Logic.
